Morning!
Hey!
I really appreciate those of you that have taken time to let me know where you
are located....this is such a blessing to me! Some of you may not
have sent in your "location" because you think I already know where
you live. Just because I have your email address, or may have communicated
with you through phone calls or IM's, doesn't mean that I know where you
live...so, go ahead and reply to the "survey". I am saving
these in a special file, so that I won't forget!
Now,
back to the STOP signs....in one of last week's encouragements, I listed some
scriptures that are actually STOP signs from God that will help us
"simplify" our lives, so that we can enjoy our lives!
These STOP signs are for our "protection", and also to
eliminate stress, confusion and frustration. I hope you saved or
printed out that "encouragement" (April 07, 2004). If you
didn't, then e-mail me and I will send you a copy of it.
Today,
I want to give you another STOP sign and this time I am going to tell you
what it says in the Amplified Bible~~~~~~
5.
STOP "allowing circumstances to rob you of your PEACE" (John
14:27)
Here
is what the Lord Jesus, Himself, said:
"Peace
I leave with you; My own peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as
the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid-----stop allowing yourselves to be agitated
and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and
cowardly and unsettled." (I hope you noticed that the Lord used the
word "stop" in this scripture.)
