T.O.D.A.Y.'S
ENCOURAGEMENT for Apr.28, 2003 T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries When a person is going to leave one place and go somewhere else, their friends usually give them a "going away gift"...but, when Jesus was leaving this earth to go to Heaven, He did just the opposite.... He gave His "going away gift" to the ones that were staying! (John 14:27) It was the gift of Peace, and He said that it was "His Peace"! If you will read that scripture, you will see that Jesus told us, in essence, that we would not find this kind of Peace in the world or in worldly things and worldly ways. It can only be found in "Him". It is called the "peace that passes all understanding". So if we are trying to figure everything out by "leaning unto our own understanding", we will never have this "peace" that He wanted us to receive! (Read Proverbs 3: 5 & 6.) I encourage you to read this scripture, because tomorrow I am going to share with you how this "applies" to our everyday life! God makes everything so "simple" for us, if we will just do things "His way"! I know...it's another "cliff hanger", but stay with me.... this can be "life-changing"! Have a Blessed Day!!
