Good Morning!

I want us to look at verse 12 of today's Proverb...."there is a way that seems right to man...".   This same scripture is "repeated" in Proverbs 16:25.  We learn by "repetition".  This is a "principle" that God Himself set up, and it can be seen throughout the bible.

Jesus "repeated" Himself...the apostle Paul did the same thing, and I could mention many others.  Even school teachers know how important "repetition" is in the process of learning...they may not know that the "principle" came from God, but they do know that it works!

Anyway, back to Proverbs 14:12, it says in essence, just because what we decide to do "seems" to be the right way, it may not be God's way!  In other words, before we make a decision, we need to ask God for His wisdom in that particular situation. God's way is "perfect"(Psalms 18:30).  So, since "His way" is perfect, why do we want to waste our time trying to do things "our way", or the way that "seems" right to us?

I encourage you, today, to ask God for His wisdom and direction before you do something that "seems right" to you!
