Good Morning!
In the 11th chapter of Mark, Jesus tells us to "have faith in
God". To have faith in God means
to have faith in His Word. He goes on to tell us that we are to
"speak" to the mountains in our lives, and if we have faith in Him
and His word, then whatever we say will come to pass.
So, obviously, our words and our faith are very important. We need to do
and say what He tells us to do and say, but we also need to remember that Jesus
said, in John 15:5 that without Him (apart from Him) we can do
NOTHING! In other words, when the "mountains move" and the
things we have confessed ("spoken") come to pass, we don't take the
credit...that belongs to Jesus!!
With that in mind, let me encourage you with these words:
Mountains will not move just
because I tell them to,
But because HE said they
would.
Things won't come to pass just
because of my great faith,
But because of Who my faith is
in!
Things that I can see are
subject to change,
So why should I be looking at
them?
The only thing that I should
ever have to do,
is just to put my
trust completely in Him!
So it will never be because of
what I do,
But because of
what He "did"
And it will never be because
of what I say
But because of what He
has already "said"!
It's because of
Jesus, just because of Jesus
Not because of anything I do
or do not do.
It's because of
Jesus, just because of Jesus
All I have to do is just
believe His Word is TRUE!! **
Keep on doing what He tells you to do, and keep on saying what He tells you to
say, and then give Him all the Praise and Glory when you see the Word of
God come to pass in your life.
