Think on
these things....
I will continue to share about some
of what God's Word has to say about
the name of Jesus. Remember that
when we think about His name, we are
thinking about what is true, and
pure, and all the other things that
Phil. 4:8 has listed.
Phil. 2:9-10 tells us that God
has exalted Jesus and has given
Him a name that is above EVERY name,
and that every knee will have to bow
to that name....things in Heaven,
and on earth, and under the
earth! Think about it! Anything
that has a name will have to bow to
the name of Jesus. All sickness and
all diseases have a name
(cancer, diabetes, etc.)....evil
spirits that try to come upon and
take control of people have a name
(fear, perversion, lust, greed,
pride, critical and judgmental, and
yes, even religious, and anything
that exalts itself above the Word of
God)!
Now, think about this......Jesus has
given His name and authority to all
of us, that are called by His name,
to come against sickness and disease
and evil spirits! It is up to each
one of us to make a decision to rise
up and TAKE our authority that is in
His NAME! Think about it!
I know that this message is
short, but I also know that the Holy
Spirit has put a lot of "food for
thought" on our plates for now. I
have one more message to share
concerning what God's Word has to
say about the name of Jesus. I want
to try and do that on Friday. I
encourage you to read the scriptures
that I used for this message today,
and I also encourage you to "think
about" what they say!
