Think on
these things....
Philippians 4:8 could be
a "life-changing" verse of scripture
for those who will allow The Holy
Spirit to open their spiritual eyes
to really SEE and perceive all that
it entails! For example, it is not
telling us to just think on the
"word" true, or the "word"
pure, and so on.......it is
instructing us to think on the
things that are all
listed in that verse. You may be
thinking...."Come on, Luanne, we
know that"! Well, how many times
have we read that verse and did
not take time to stop and "think" on
all the things that
relate to each word? Have we really
thought about the fact that all
those words relate to the "character
and nature" of The Lord Himself? He
is "all that", and so much more!
I am so excited about how the Holy
Spirit is going to walk us through
this verse, and reveal many things
to us that we may not have thought
about. The Lord wants to help us
"renew our minds", so that we can
think like Him and become more like
Him! I know that all of us have a
desire for that to happen! So,
let's get started on this
"life-changing" journey~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We are going to start with
"whatsoever things are true". It
is amazing to me how the Holy Spirit
is putting this together. I know
that I will be sharing about this
word for a long time. Are you
ready? Let's roll !
The Lord reminded me of a
song that He gave me that
says...."His name is called
Faithful and True".** If we
are thinking about Jesus, we are
thinking about what is "true".
Spend some time just thinking about
His NAME! Think about some
of the scriptures that talk about
His name. I will be expounding on
some of those scriptures in my next
message. In the meantime, keep
thinking about the name of
Jesus! By the way.....would you
like to have perfect peace?
Then just keep your mind (your
thoughts) stayed on The Lord !
