Good Morning!
There is a song that I sing to The
Lord very often. Actually, it is a
line from a song that they used to
sing at the Miss America pageants (I
think). Anyway, the part that I
sing to Him, is this>>> "I'm getting
to know You...getting to know all
about You!
Every time I sing that to Him, I can
feel His "love"! The reason that I
can sing that
song to Him, is because that is
exactly what has been happening to
me through the years that I have
walked closer and closer to Him. I
have known "about" Him since I was
a small child, but now I have become
"intimately acquainted" with Him! I
know that many of you know what I am
talking about. When that happens,
He begins to reveal His nature to
us, and holds us close to His heart,
so that we can feel His heart-beat
and even feel what He has "in" His
heart! One of those things that He
has in His heart, is what I want to
expound on in this message.
The Bible calls it...the "joy of The
Lord"! There are many scriptures
that talk about how He fills our
mouth with "laughter". They also
tell us that God "laughs"! They
also tell us that He "rejoices over
us with singing"! The Apostle, Paul
tells us to "rejoice and again I
say, rejoice"! I think it would be
very hard to "rejoice" without
expressing joy and laughter! The
Lord has given us both of those
things, and He can't give us
something that He does not have!
Hello!
Oh, precious ones...it is so
important for us to become
intimately acquainted with this side
of God! It is life-changing! In my
next message, I will be talking
about the fact that Father God and
Jesus and the Holy Spirit all have a
"sense of humor"! So, stay tuned in
and get filled with abundant joy and
