Good Morning!
Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to "Trust in The Lord with all
of your heart and lean not unto your own understanding.
Acknowledge Him, in all of your ways, and He shall
direct your paths"! Being obedient to these
instructions from The Lord could mean the difference
between success and failure to all of us! If you have
read this scripture before, have you ever thought about
what it means to . . . "acknowledge Him"? When The Holy
Spirit showed me the "simplicity" of this, it was
"life-changing" for me . . . it simply means to
recognize His presence and authority, and to allow Him
to be "involved" in anything and everything that we are
doing! I am going to share one of my songs with you and
if you will take time to think about the words in it,
you will be reminded of many familiar "scriptures" that
are woven (like tapestry) into this song ~~~~~~~~~
GET THE LORD INVOLVED IN WHAT YOU'RE DOING;
HE "WANTS" TO BE INVOLVED IN WHAT YOU'RE DOING!
IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT IT IS, JUST GET THE
LORD INVOLVED IN WHAT YOU'RE DOING!
DO NOT BEGIN TO REASON IN YOUR MIND, SAYING,
"I WILL DO IT THIS WAY";
BE LED BY THE "SPIRIT" . . . BE SENSITIVE TO
HIM; HEAR WHAT HE HAS TO SAY!
THERE IS A WAY THAT "SEEMS" RIGHT TO MAN,
BUT IT MAY NOT BE GOD'S WAY;
HIS WAY IS "PERFECT", TESTED AND TRIED . . .
SO, LET HIM HAVE HIS WAY!
HE CARES ABOUT WHAT YOU "CARE ABOUT" . . .
HE IS INTERESTED IN YOU!
HE WILL ACCOMPLISH AND HE WILL PERFECT, THAT
WHICH CONCERNS YOU!
SO, GET THE LORD INVOLVED IN WHAT YOU'RE DOING;
HE WANTS TO BE INVOLVED IN WHAT YOU'RE DOING!
IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT IT IS, JUST GET THE LORD
INVOLVED IN WHAT YOU'RE DOING!
If you will humble yourself and invite The Lord to be
involved in EVERY situation of your every day life . . .
you will experience His Covenant promise that follows
the word "shall" in Proverbs 3:5-6! God SHALL "direct
you in the way that you should go"! He will tell you
"what" to do, and "how" to do it! Remember this ~~~~~
SHALL is a Covenant "word"! Whatever He says in His
Word that He will do . . . HE "WILL" DO IT! So, get The
Lord involved in your "plans and affairs"!
