Good Morning!

I promised that I would get back to "simplifying" our lives.  In order for me to take up where I left off, I went back to the encouragement that I sent out for Sept. 01 where I was talking about our "thoughts" and how to stop the negative thoughts from coming out of our mouth.  The example that I used was what to do, and what not to do when you have thoughts that cause you to be "confused".  Do not say, "I am confused"!  Say what God's Word says...."God is not the author of confusion" (1Corinthians 14:33).

Today, I want to show you how you can stop the thoughts that cause  "fear" from coming out of your mouth. When those thoughts come to your mind...do not say, "I am afraid"!  Do not even let those words come out of your mouth!  I know for a fact that we can do this sometimes without even thinking about what we are "saying".  We say things like "I am afraid that we are not going to be able to pay the rent, or I am afraid that I am going to be late, or I am afraid that I am going to get a bad report from the doctor, or I am afraid that my kids are going to do this or that, or I am afraid that my washing machine is not going to last much longer".  These are just some of the "fears" that we speak out of our mouth.  The point is...we can stop those "fears" from coming to pass by simply saying what God's Word says!

Instead of saying, "I am afraid"...say this~~~"I will not fear!  God has not given me a spirit of fear" (2Timothy 1:7).  Those three words, "I am afraid", are no longer a part of my vocabulary!  God tells us over and over again in His Word.."FEAR NOT"!  Why did He tell us this?  Because "fear" is the direct opposite of "faith"...we cannot operate in fear and faith at the same time!  It takes "faith" for us to receive anything from God (James 1:6 & 7).  Without "faith", it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).  So, it will be so much more "simple" for us if we just say what God's Word says, instead of saying what our "thoughts" tell us to say!

More tomorrow~~~~~~~Do your "homework"!

Have a Blessed Day!!                  (FEAR NOT!)                        In His Love, Luanne
