Morning!
I
hope that all of you had a blessed Labor Day Weekend Holiday! I
understand that Labor Day was established in order for people to have an
opportunity to "rest from their labor", but isn't it
interesting that the Bible says that we should "labor to
enter in to the rest"? Read Hebrews 4:11. It sounds
"contradictory", but it really isn't. One is talking about our
"natural" lives...the other is talking about our
"spiritual" lives.
I
encourage you to read Hebrews 3:19 and 4:1 - 11 because that is my
"homework assignment" to you all to do while I am gone. I will not
be sending any more "encouragements" until the 19th of
September.
I
have been invited to "minister" at a church in west Texas, so I
will be busy the rest of this week getting my car and myself ready
for the trip, and then I will be there in San Angelo the next week.
Don't give up on me....I promise I will be back, and I will
continue with the "Simple is Good" message!
If
any of you are in that area, let me give you the "info" in case
you would like to come to the meetings~~~~~~I will be ministering at Victory
Christian Center in San Angelo, Texas. The Pastor is Jerry Roach.
For now, I am scheduled to hold two meetings.....Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 12
and 13 at 9:30 am. I know that all of you cannot come, but I would
really appreciate your "prayers" for this mission trip!
