Morning!
It
is not hard for us to be aware of the fact that we have
allowed our drawers or closets or desktops to become "cluttered"
from time to time. We may not always be motivated to get rid
of the "clutter", but we know that it is there....especially
when we can't seem to find what it is that we are looking for!
Well,
we have "drawers" in our soul that also become
"cluttered". However, we are not always aware of
that problem! This is what I want to talk about. Remember, I
am still talking about "simplifying your life"!
First
of all, you have to understand that your "soul" is made up of your mind, your
will and your emotions....those are the
"drawers" that need to be free of clutter, in order for you to
find what you are looking for, concerning the will of God in your life!
Clutter,
of any kind, always causes "frustration"...and frustration always
robs us of our "peace and joy"! So, even though it would be a
good thing for you to clean out the clutter from your "natural"
drawers and closets...I am not going to go there with this
message! I am sure that most of you are saying..."Thank you,
Jesus"!
You
don't need me to tell you how to clean out that kind of "clutter",
but some of you may need to know how to keep the "clutter" out of
your mind, your will and your emotions! So, I am going to share
with you what The Lord has shown me about "spiritual" house
cleaning. We will start with the "mind drawer"
tomorrow!
Not
to worry! The Lord will make this very "simple"! In
fact, He will tell you how to do it and will even help you
do it! Are you "motivated" yet?
