Morning!
You
know what? "Fear" brings torment ( 1John
4:18).
You
know what? God has not given us a "spirit of
fear" ( 2Timothy 1:7).
You
know what? "Fear" is not pleasing to God ( Hebrews
11:6).
You
cannot operate in "faith" and "fear" at the same
time...that is because they are opposing forces!
"Faith" is believing that God is in charge..."fear" is
believing that the devil is in charge!
I
have good news! God has given us the answer to the
"fear" problem! You can find it in the same scripture that I
started out with...1John 4:18! When we choose to allow the "love of
God" to be perfected in us...it will cast out all fear!
This
means that when we feel "fear" trying to come upon us...we must make
a decision to "focus" on God's love for us, instead of
"focusing" on the thing that is causing us to fear!
Then, you will not be "tormented" by fear but can have the
"peace" that passes all understanding! (read Philippians 4:7).
You know what?
"Fear" does not come from God! It comes from that serpent, the
devil (Revelation 12:9). So, when fear tries to "attach" itself
to you....SHAKE IT OFF! Just like the Apostle Paul did when the snake
tried to attach itself to him ( Acts 28: 3-5 ).
Not only did Paul's act of faith keep him
from harm, but it also caused everyone on that island to believe in the
"power of God"!
You know what? Our
"fear" or "faith" can have an effect on others!
