Morning!
In
the first verse of the first book of the Bible we can find
this profound, but simple statement of Truth~~~~~"IN THE BEGINNING,
GOD......"! I encourage you to say that out loud~~~~IN THE
BEGINNING, GOD! If you will allow the Holy Spirit to give you a
revelation of the "significance" of those four words, it will be
life-changing for you!
I
know that it goes on to say what all God did at that time...so, we
have always focused on the "creation" of the universe and everything
else that He created. I believe that there is something else being said
here that we need to focus on!
Those
first four words tell us that "in the beginning" God was IN
CHARGE! Nothing could stop Him from doing what He had in mind to do!
That has not changed!! He is Alpha and Omega....the beginning and the end!
He is the same God today as He was "in the beginning"! He
is still IN CHARGE!
The
problem is that some people will not allow Him to be "in
charge" of their own personal lives, therefore they never
"receive" what He has for them. Anytime, we decide
to be in charge, we are assuming to have more "power" than
Almighty God has! Wrong answer!!!
I do
not have the power to create a universe and all that is in it.... so I
choose to allow the One that has that power to be "in
charge" of my personal life! If He can handle the affairs of the
universe, He can surely handle my "affairs"!
