Good Morning!

Everything Jesus did, while He was here on Earth, was to be an "example" and a "pattern" for the way that we should live our lives.  With that in mind, think about this.......Jesus lived a "simple" life, He kept His relationships "simple," and He preached a "simple" message!  That message is still "simple" today,  so there is no need for us to try to "complicate" it!  Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

Jesus, not only "walked" in peace and joy, He was "full" of peace and joy.....How do we know this?  He said that He wanted us to be full of peace and joy, and so He gave us "His" before He left!  You can't give something you don't have!

I have come to realize that the times in my life when I am not "peace-full", or when I am not "joy-full" is when I am allowing myself to "complicate" the situation. That is when I have to stop, and make the decision to "keep it simple"!  This "revelation" has literally been life-changing for me, but I am still "challenged" in this area every day.  We will always be "challenged" to...."be doers of the Word, and not hearers only" (James 1:22).
