Good Morning!

This week, I am going to share some more of the songs that The Lord has inspired me to write over the past twenty-plus years.  This is why He gave them to me, was to use them to encourage and bless other people.  But, before Jesus turned my life around, I wrote songs of a "different" kind.

For many years, I played the piano for C&W bands, and in "honky-tonks" and "piano bars". (I am not trying to put any condemnation on anyone.......what you do, is between you and The Lord).  I am just saying, that God had another plan for my life.  So, the song that I am going to share with you today, is just a part of my personal testimony.

       "I used to entertain the world with every kind of song;
       I was only wasting time, and the music was all wrong.
       I never understood just why, until He came along;
       He changed my life and my music,too
       Now, Jesus is my song!"

       "The words are written on my heart, instead of in my mind;
       I don't worry about "arranging", The Holy Ghost does just fine.
       No more about "poor old me", "You know you done me wrong"
       His love directs my music, now,
       And Jesus is my song!

       Now, for anyone who is still "singing the blues",
       I just want to tell you that Jesus is "good news"
       and if you haven't made Him "Lord", it won't take very long;
       Just ask Him into your heart, right now, and
       He can be "your" song! **
