Well, this message is
going to be "different" for sure!
Humm! I don't know who needs to hear it, but I DO know that The
Holy Spirit is leading me to send it! So, I will just be obedient!
Have
you ever heard someone say, " I just need my space"?
Perhaps you have even said this very thing from time to time..."I just
need my space". You know what, we all DO need that at one time or
another, and we also need to remember that other people do too.
When people seem to be "having an attitude" about something . . .
instead of trying to get them "straightened out", we just need to
let them "have their space" and allow The Holy Spirit to show
them what they need to do. We also need to do that when WE are
"having an attitude" about something or somebody. I am going
to share a song with you that The Lord gave me many years ago, and He wants
to change it just a little for this particular message today ~~~~~~

Lord, let your glory fill "my space", as I humble myself to seek
your face.
Search
my heart, oh Lord now and see, if there be any wicked way in me.
Create
in me, a clean heart . . . and renew a right spirit within me;
then
I can teach transgressors Your ways,
and
sinners will be converted unto Thee!

Most of the words of this
song came from Psalms 51, and where it says "renew a right spirit within
me" (v.10), that word "spirit" literally means
"attitude". So, it is okay for us to need "our space", but
while we are there, we need to allow the Lord to fill it with His glory,
because we are "changed from glory to glory"! (2 Corinthians 3:18).
I have learned to back off and give other people "their space",
instead of "getting in their face". I have also learned that
from time to time, I am in need of an
"attitude adjustment" . . . and most of the time, it is not so much
about other people as it is about MYSELF!
