Morning!
I
have been talking about taking the Word of God and "speaking" it out
loud.....it is so important for us to "say" it, "pray" it
and "sing" it! The Lord makes it so simple for us to
change our situations and circumstances. All we have to do is know
what He has said, believe what He has said, and then take
what He has said and SAY it! He did not say that He
would speak to the mountains in our lives....He told us to speak to
them and tell them to be removed (Mark 11:23).
That
is the reason that Jesus got upset with His disciples concerning the
"storm" they encountered. I encourage you to read Matthew 8:
23-26, and then go back up and read verse 18. Jesus commanded them to go
to the other side, before they even started out...in other words, they
had a "word" from the Lord. If they had "believed" what He
said, and put "faith" in what He had said...then when the storm
came, they would have told the winds and the waves
"We are not afraid of you! The Lord said that we are going to
the other side and so WE ARE GOING TO THE OTHER SIDE"!
Jesus
said many times that He only says what He hears the Father say...that is
why He was sleeping. We can always enter into a
"rest" when we believe that God will do what he says He
will do! Are we getting the "picture" now?
It
really is so "simple"....don't try to complicate the Word of God.
Just believe it, receive it by faith, and then apply
it by speaking it over the "storms" of your life! Think
about it.....if the disciples had done this, they would have never had The
Lord question their faith!
