Morning!
Today,
I want to make a "confession" to all of my readers...it is something
that you need to know about me. I want to be completely open and
honest with you...I am having an "affair". Yes, I am
having a "love affair" with JESUS! I pray
that each and every one of you can make this same
"confession"!
The
Lord desires for us to have an "intimate" relationship with Him, not a
"casual" relationship! I am going to give you some of
the definitions of the word "casual", and I want you to really think
about these definitions.....do they "define" the kind of
relationship you have with Jesus?~~~~~
cas-u-al....1. happening or governed by chance; not planned; incidental; (as
in a
casual "visit") 2. happening at irregular intervals;
occasionally 3. slight and/or
superficial (a casual acquaintance) 4. nonchalant; dispassionate.
I
don't know about you, but these "definitions" definitely
let me know, that I need my relationship with Jesus to be intimate
not casual!
All
this week, I am going to be talking about our "love affair" with The
Lord...not only about our part in it, but also about His
part in it!
