Good Morning!

You know what? Years ago, I made a decision to just "plain ol' vanilla" believe God's Word!  That is what Abraham did, and he is the father of our faith (read Romans, chapter 4).  I know, it took him awhile to get there....at first, he allowed Sarah to influence him into thinking that maybe God really meant something other than what He said. So, they decided to "help God out" with their own plan.  Then, "along came Ishmael"!  Read Genesis 16:2    (Have you had any "Ishmaels" in your life?)

I used to do the same thing with the Word of God....I wanted to "analyze" it, and "neutralize" it,  "remodel" it and "alter" it, to fit my situations so that it would be more "comfortable" for me!  Then I read what Abraham eventually decided to do.  Please read Romans 4:18-25....this is what convicted me to have absolute faith and trust in the promises of God...no matter what!

We have "enemies" of our faith. For example, the devil lies to us....worldly people want to influence us, our circumstances want to discourage us, and our minds want us to reason everything out!

I have a question for you....Who are you going to "believe"?  The devil, the media, your circumstances, your mind....or God?   When Abraham finally "decided" to just believe God...he "received" the promise!  Is that "simple" or what?  As you all know....I am all about "keeping it SIMPLE"!

This message will mean so much more to you, if you will take the time to read the fourth chapter of Romans!

Have a Blessed Day!!        (Only believe what God says!)         In His Love, Luanne
