Morning!
Everything that God gives us, He wants us
to enjoy! (1Timothy 6:17), and He wants us to be "good
stewards" of everything that He gives us!
No
one can really "enjoy" something that keeps breaking down, falling
apart and causes us to spend all of our time "working on it, and trying
to fix it"! Many times, this can be avoided by what I call
"preventive maintenance". I will use our cars as an example.....we
can prevent a lot of problems if we do what we know to do. Such as, checking
the oil and water, paying attention to the "warning signals" that
are available to us, and having regular "tune-ups".
This
principle applies to much more than just our cars and appliances,
etc.....it also applies to our "physical well-being", our
"spiritual growth", and, yes, even our "relationships",
which is what we have been talking about (and will be
talking about for a while). I encourage you, to scroll back up, read
the "analogy" that The Lord has given us in this message, and then
think of it in relation to the different "areas" that He has referred
to.....I believe that you will see that we have a part in
"maintaining" what He has given us (including our
"relationships"). I also believe, that you will see the
"simplicity" of this message as we continue>>>>>>
