Good Morning!

There are so many different places we could go when we start talking about "emotions", but I will try to keep it brief today. I just mainly want us to see where we need to begin
the process of "change", in order to achieve and maintain our objective and goal....which is to enjoy our lives!

Our emotions, in and of themselves, are not bad or wrong.  They are part of the way that God created us. We just need to learn how to control them and not be led or motivated
by them.  We, as Christians, are supposed to be "led" by the Holy Spirit, and to be "motivated" by LOVE, not by the way we feel.  Our "feelings" are fickle and they change from one situation to another. However, the Spirit of God, and the Word of God, and the Love of God never changes, and is therefore what keeps us "stable", (if we will rely on them instead of our feelings).

For example, and this is just "one"; you may "feel" sorry for someone and want to help them get out of their financial problems.  There is nothing wrong with that, The Lord uses
people to help other people.  However, if you try to do this, without the direction of the Holy Spirit, you could hinder more than help. When God tells you to do something, then be quick to obey, but if it is just something that you "feel" pressured to do, please pray about it and ask The Lord for direction.  God wants us to be "givers" and He wants us to help others, but I have learned, through experience, that many times I have interfered with a work that He was wanting to do in some one's life.  He may be wanting that person to learn how to use their faith, and to depend only upon Him for what they need.

I must be talking to someone out there, because this is not the direction I intended to take. However, I have to practice what I preach (and that is to be led by the Holy Spirit!).

I will continue on, next week, with "How to simplify our life, instead of complicating it".

Have a Blessed Weekend!!               In His Love,       Luanne
We welcome your comments and prayer requests.
