T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for Oct.4th, 2002 T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries Yesterday, I said that I was going to be talking some more on the subject of "simple is good". You know what?.......I could talk about this 24/7, until Jesus comes back! That is because, I know from personal experience how important it is to get a revelation of this profound truth. It has been life-changing for me and others that I have shared it with. When The Lord began to show me how to simplify my life, I didn't even know that I needed to. There are probably a lot of people out there that can relate to that comment. I had no idea what a difference it was going to make in my health, my peace, my joy, my relationships, my job (which is actually my ministry), my attitude, my perspective, in fact my whole outlook on life! I am so thankful to God for this revelation, and I am sure that all of my friends and relatives are also thankful! To simplify your life and "keep it simple" will require a lot of changes. You have to change the way you think, the way you act and the way you "react" to certain people and situations. But, trust me, it is worth the effort of making those changes, when you see the "change" it will make in your health, your peace...... and "all of the above" things that I mentioned. This won't happen overnight, it is a process and it is ongoing. I am still learning, and I am still allowing the Lord to help me make the changes that I still need to make. I have just laid a foundation today, but Monday I will begin to share with you some things that you can personally apply to your own life that can help you find a way to live free from stress and frustration, so that you can be blessed and also be a blessing to others!
