T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for Nov. 02, 2007

I
have been and will continue to talk about "committing" something to
God, and then believing that He will take care of whatever you
have "committed" to Him! I will refer, again, to what The
Apostle Paul said in 2 Timothy 1:12 . . . "I know in whom I have believed
and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto
Him". To be "committed" to some thing or to some one,
means that you have made a decision to keep that "commitment" . . .
right? Well, when you "commit" to put something in God's
hands, He is automatically "committed" to keep His Word to you
concerning that which you have given to Him! Praise God! It is
time to get real excited about the "faithfulness" of our Lord!
Will you be "faithful" to leave that with Him after you
have given it to Him?
For
example . . . Every day, I "surrender, submit and commit" everything
that I am and have to The Lord. I tell Him that I put it all in His hands
so that He can be in charge and control of what I have given to Him and so
that He can "fix" what needs to be fixed! I will share with
you what those things are ~~~~~ everything I am and have (that includes all of
my children and grandchildren, my ministry, my possessions, my
relationships, my health, my needs, my cares and affairs)! Everything
that pertains to me and to my life! Then I speak out of my mouth
"I know in whom I have believed, and I am FULLY persuaded that You are
able to keep that which I have committed unto You"! You know what?
You cannot just be "almost" persuaded, because if you are not FULLY
persuaded, you will find yourself taking some of those things back from time
to time and trying to take care of them yourself! Can I get a
"witness"? You know what else? If God can't
"fix" it, then why would we even think that WE can?
You know what else? God is "faithful" to do what He has said
He would do! All we have to do is just DECIDE AND CHOOSE to
"believe" Him!
I
want to thank those of you that sent me a response to yesterday's
Encouragement . . . You really "encouraged" ME! You are a
super great bunch of guys and gals! More about
"commitment" in my next Encouragement ~~~~~~~~
