Morning!
I
hope all of you enjoyed the "Holiday week and weekend"!
I sure did, but now I am ready to get back to the "encouragements"!
I am going to take up where I left off...in the third chapter of Proverbs.
This chapter is so "right where we live". I love the way The
Holy Spirit set it up..."simple instructions" that will bring
"life- changing results"....if we choose to obey
them!
I
am going to use a little bit different "format" as we go through the
remaining 29 verses. Let me explain....I taught on the book of Proverbs
at a Bible Institute in San Angelo, Texas. I spent the entire
"year" going through it, because it was meant to be an
"in-depth" study of it. So....because of that, I guess I
was trying to do the same thing through the "encouragements"!
Anyway, I have decided to just "keep it simple"!
After all, none of you are reading these daily encouragements in order to get
a "Bible School diploma"! So, from now on, I am just
going to "paraphrase" the principle that is involved in
the instructions and results and let The Holy Spirit give you the
"revelation" that you need in your personal everyday life!
Now, that I have used up so much time
telling you what I am going to do and why I am
going to do it, I guess I will wait and start doing it
tomorrow. I will be starting with verses 7- 8, and I really encourage
you to have your bibles open to the third chapter of Proverbs each day as you
read the "encouragement". No, this is not a "bible
study", and no, you will not get a "diploma"....but you will
find out how to receive the blessings of God in your life! You are so
valuable and precious to God that He wants me to help you see the
"simplicity" of His Word!
