Good
Morning!
It
is a GOOD thing to give "thanks" unto The Lord! If you know
that song, then I encourage you to sing it every day! It will bring
"joy" to your heart, and you know what happens when you have a
joyful heart.....we talked about that yesterday.
The
scripture that I want to share with you today is... ITimothy
4:4....this verse is talking about what we eat...and God gives us a
"covenant promise" concerning it! He says, that if we will
receive our food with "thanksgiving", then His blessing will be upon
it! I encourage you to read this verse, and all the verses preceding it.
I
got a "revelation" of this verse many years ago, and because of
that, I never put a bite of food in my mouth without "thanking" God
for it! I no longer feel the need to "ask" Him to bless my food, I
just let Him know that I am "thankful" to have it, and then I know
when I do that then He is going to 'bless" it! I really trust
God to do what He has said in His Word that He will do! I am not
trying to tell you what to do, I am just sharing with you the
"simplicity" of God's Word! I am telling you what works for
me.....when I start to eat something, I just simply say..."Father,
I am so very thankful for this food, and I receive your blessing on it".
My
point is, we can "thank" God for our food every day,
not just on the day that our calendar designates as "Thanksgiving
Day"! Enjoy your Holiday with your family, and we will be back on
Monday!
Have
a Blessed Day!! (Keep it Simple!")
In His Love, Luanne
