Morning!
Did
you do your "homework" and read the sixth chapter of Matthew?
Well, if you forgot to do that, God is a God of a second chance!
That chapter is still there....it isn't going to go away. Praise God!
The Word of God is just like Jesus is....the same yesterday, today, and
forever!!
Seriously,
the reason I am "checking up on you", is because, this week I am
going to be looking at the different areas of our everyday life that
Jesus is talking about in this chapter. I want us to allow the Holy
Spirit to reveal to us the "simplicity" of the precious Word of God!
Remember, God will do His part in helping us to simplify our lives, but we
have to do our part.....and that is to "read the
instructions". Then, we have to be "doers" of The
Word....we have to "apply" it!
Let
me use this example.......suppose that you had a problem with
"dandruff" and it was stealing your peace and joy (this is just an
example). You could purchase a product that guarantees it will get rid
of your problem.....just having that product in your possession will not take
care of the problem. You need to read the instructions in order to have
the desired results....however, even if you read the instructions and stop
there......nothing is going to change. Eventually, you are going to have
to.... "personally" apply it to the problem!
If
you have a Bible, then you have in your possession, the one thing that can
take care of your "complicated" situations....but you will have to
read the "instructions" and then "apply" them!
Hmmmm.....this may not be exactly what I had planned to talk about, but
remember boys and girls........I just type whatever The Lord tells me to
say! See you tomorrow>>>>>>>>>>>
