T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for Nov. 22nd T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries I am going to give you some scriptures from the Word of God that you can use as a "check list". 1Corinthians 13:4- 8 tells us what love "is", and what it "is not". This is how we can find out if we are keeping the love commandment that Jesus gave us. I am taking this from the Amplified Bible>>>>>>>>> v.#4 Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy; is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. v.#5 It is not conceited -- arrogant and inflated with pride; it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love, [God's love in us], does not insist on it's own rights or it's own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not "touchy", or fretful, or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it....pays no attention to a suffered wrong. v.#6 It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. v.#7 Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person; it's hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures every thing [without weakening]. v.#8a (this is how you know that you have "the key to successful living"), because . . . . . . . . . . . LOVE NEVER FAILS!!!!!!! Everywhere the above scriptures use the word "love", I have put my name there, and I read it out loud to myself. If you do not have an Amplified Bible, you may want to print this out so you can refer to your "check list" from time to time. (I need to do it on a daily basis!) Have a Blessed Weekend!!
