T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for Nov. 12th, 2002 T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries Last week we started talking about how The Lord desires for us to have "success", not "failure", in our personal lives. I am going to list four of the scriptures that points this out, and I encourage you to read them for yourself, even though I am going to take each one and show you the "simplicity" of these "conditions" for successful living. Keep in mind, that there are many more scriptures concerning this subject. You can start in Genesis, and read all the way through the Bible, and it is very clear and plain that God has always wanted His people to "succeed". Joshua 1:8, says that "if" we will study and meditate on The Word, and "if" we will do what it tells us to do, then we will prosper, we will know how to deal wisely, and we will have good success. Proverbs 3:3&4, says that "if" we will be merciful and truthful, we will find favor, understanding and high esteem in the sight of God and men. Proverbs 16:3, says that "if" we will commit all of our plans and affairs to The Lord, and "trust" Him with them, then He will cause our "thoughts" to be in agreement with His Will, and our plans will be established and will succeed. James 4:10, says that "if" we will stay humble before God, then He will exalt us, lift us up and make our lives significant! [I am going to talk some more about these conditions later]. In order to be successful, we need the blessing of God on our lives, and in order to have that, we need to be obedient to Him and His Word........Obedience = Blessing = Success God's "love" for us is "unconditional", but His "blessings" come with "conditions" and they are there to protect us, not to hinder us. More about this tomorrow................ Have a Blessed Day!! In His Love, Luanne We welcome your comments and prayer requests.
