T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for Nov. 8th T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries I believe that everybody has a desire to "succeed" at what they are attempting to do. That is because, The Lord placed that desire within us. How many people do you know that desire to be a "failure"? Really, do you know someone that is out buying up all the books they can find on "How to Fail"? I don't think so! However, there are a lot of people buying a lot of books on "How to Succeed". But . . . . you don't have to do that. If you have a Bible, then you have the best book that has ever been written, or ever will be written, on how to be successful! The "desire" to succeed in, in itself, is not wrong. However, you need to check your motivation for wanting "success". Remember, it is not "what" you do, but "why" you do it, that determines whether it is right or wrong. The reason that God put that desire within us, is because it is His "will" for us to be successful in every area of our lives. We were created in His image and likeness, and He imparted His nature to us. He has always been "successful"; He has never "failed", and He wants us to be "like Him". He has made it so "simple" for us to live "successfully", and Monday, we will look at some of the scriptures that will tell us everything we need to know about "How to Succeed"!
