T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for Nov. 5th T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries Today is election day and I want to take this opportunity to use the following analogy>>>>As Americans, we have been given the "legal" right and privilege to "choose" in order to either "change" what we do not want to happen in our government, or to "keep and maintain" what we DO want! As Christians, we have the "God-given" right and privilege to "choose" in order to either "change" things in our personal lives that are not a blessing, and to "keep and maintain" the things that are a blessing! In both of these situations, whether "political" or "personal", PRAYER needs to be involved. We need to get The Lord involved in everything that we do. We need to be seeking His will in everything that, in any way, pertains to us. If we would "pray" before we "choose", then we would not end up having to ask God to "bless" our "mess". Too many times, we just go ahead and do our own thing, and then we murmur and complain about our circumstances, which are just "simply" the results of our "choices". The best thing that we can ever do, as far as "making right choices", is just to "simply ask The Father to lead us by His Spirit one day at a time." and, because our walk with God is a "daily" thing, then we need to do this on a "daily' basis, and it should "start" each morning . . . . . . . . . .
