Morning!
I really appreciate the responses that I have had from all of you guys and gals!
I believe that you are getting a revelation on this "simple is good"
message. Some of you may have
gotten hold of this even before I did, but, stay teachable . . . . . there is
always so much more for all of us to learn about the things of God and His
ways......and one of His ways is to lead us "one day at a time"!
So, we have talked about how to start each day off, which is so important and
vital to whether or not we "enjoy" the rest of the day.
Just to re-cap, we need to begin our day with "thanksgiving and
praise". The fact that you woke up and you are breathing, is reason
enough to be thankful to the Lord! Then, we need to verbally
"choose" what we want for ourselves and our loved ones. These choices
need to be based upon the Word of God and on what His will is for us.
This can be so "simple" . . . . . His Word says that He has a
"good plan for our lives (Jeremiah 29:11), and that He has a "path for
us to walk in", so, this is what I do: I say, "Lord, I
have some plans for today, but, if they are not according to the plan that you
have for me, then I choose Your plan, and Lord, here are my feet, put them and
keep them on the "path" that you have ordained for me to walk in
today. I choose life, and I choose to be blessed so that I can be a blessing to
others. Let me make a difference in somebody's life today."
This is a very "simple" prayer, and it is according to God's will and
His Word. 1 John 5:14 & 15 says that " if we ask anything according to
His will, He hears us and gives us what we have asked for". Is that
"simple" or what?
