Good Morning!
Okay, guys and gals . . . I am going to do
something that I have never done before, in the seven
years that I have been sending these "Encouragements"
out, and I am doing this only by the leading of The Holy
Spirit! I can promise you that this was NOT my "idea"!
As I was seeking the Lord about what He wanted me to say
in this Encouragement, I was feeling a little "down"
(those of you that are in "ministry" will understand
what I am talking about). Anyway, the Lord began to
speak to me and this is what He said . . . "You have
given out and continued to give out, not only in your
written encouragements but also in your personal
"one-on-one" ministry to people over the phone and
emails and IMs. Now, it is time to allow those that you
have encouraged to do the same for you". Precious
ones, please hear this . . . The Lord said that He
wanted me to ALLOW others to "encourage" me! I am not
trying to bring any attention to myself . . . I truly
believe that The Lord is instructing me to do this, so
that He can BLESS "You"!
I am going to take next week off, and continue
to seek The Lord about whether or not to continue with
these Encouragements. I may just be experiencing "burn
out", which happens to everyone in the ministry from
time to time. I think it would be really "neat" to
RECEIVE an "encouragement" from someone that I have
"encouraged"! If the Lord is speaking to you to do
this, then go ahead and "sub" for me next week!
I cannot even believe that I am sending this
out! He never ceases to "amaze" me! Everything that
God does . . . He does "for a reason"! He also does it
for a "season". Wow! . . . does this mean that I am I
going to get a "Word in due season" from some of you?
