T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for May 20, 2008
T.O.D.A.Y.

In
yesterday's Encouragement, I listed some things that all of us have
experienced from time to time in our lives, but now it is "time" to
find out how we can eliminate those things. I encourage you to refer back to
that list, because The Lord is going to address each one of them, and show us
how to "counter-attack" all of the "attacks" of the enemy!
His Covenant WORD will not only "set" us free from all of these
things, but it will also "keep" us free from them. "Whom
the Son has set FREE is FREE INDEED"! (John 8:36)
All
of the things that I listed are nothing but pieces of "garbage and
trash" that the devil wants to dump on us! Now hear this,
devil ~~~~ we are not "dumpsters" to receive your trash and garbage!
We are children of The Most High God and we have a COVENANT with Him.
So, we will take His COVENANT "WORD", which is the "sword
of the Spirit" and resist you. We will put your trash and
garbage in God's Holy "shredder" and "incinerator"!
You will become "ashes under our feet"! He gave us THAT
Covenant promise in Malachi 4:3, and we take His Word and come against you!
Now this may seem strange to all of you that I am "talking" to the
devil, but that is how we "resist" him, as we are told to do in
James 4:7
You
know what? We are not supposed to be "listening" to the
devil's lies . . . we should be making him "listen" to
us! Which reminds me of a song that the Lord gave me to write . . .
allow me to share some of it with you ~~~~~~
YOU
DON'T HAVE TO LISTEN TO THE devil . . . THERE IS SOMETHING YOU CAN DO;
JUST
OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND SPEAK GOD'S WORD, AND MAKE THE devil LISTEN TO YOU!
MAKE
HIM LISTEN TO . . . "IT IS WRITTEN"! MAKE HIM LISTEN TO . . .
"THUS SAITH THE LORD"!
INSTEAD
OF LISTENING TO THE devil, MAKE THE devil LISTEN TO YOU!
There
are more verses to this song, but this is the one that The Lord wanted me to
share in this Encouragement. All of the things that I listed in
yesterday's Encouragement are things that started with a "thought"
that the enemy was whispering in your ear in order to put it in your mind!
That is why we need to become COVENANT-minded! I encourage you to think
about what the Holy Spirit has said in this Encouragement, when we start
looking at all the things that He listed in my last Encouragement.
Remember, no Encouragement tomorrow . . . I will be back Thursday!
