Morning!
I
am going to continue on with a message that The Lord put on my heart. It
really started with my Encouragement for May 07, and I encourage you to go to
our website and you will find it and the following ones right there on the
Archive page. That way, you can just go down the line, and you don't
have to hunt for them in your mail files. That is just a suggestion, but
I believe it will help you have a more "clear" understanding of the
"principles" that The Lord is wanting us to see.
Now, I will take Proverbs
4: 20 - 27 and expound on the TRUTH that is in those scriptures. May The
Holy Spirit give you the "revelation" that you need for your
personal life!
v.
20 says, "My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my
sayings". The Lord is just simply telling us to: Pay
attention when you are reading God's Word! Agree with Him when He gives
you "instructions"! Then, submit yourself and be obedient to
DO what He says to do!
Reference scriptures that
pertain to that verse ~~~~~ Deuteronomy 28 gives a list of
"blessings" that have been made available to us when we meet the
conditions in verse 2 of that chapter . . . which says, "ALL of
these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, IF you
"heed" (pay attention) to what The Lord is saying to you"! It
is wonderful when blessings "come upon" us, but it is even more
wonderful when they "overtake" us! If you have never
experienced the "overtaking" kind of blessings, then just keep
PAYING ATTENTION TO THE WORD OF GOD! You "will" experience
them just because He said you would! Next reference
scripture ~~~~ James 4:7 says, "Submit yourself to God . . .
resist the devil and he will flee from you". There are many
Christians that are saying, "Devil, I resist you in the name of
Jesus", and they are wondering why the devil isn't "fleeing"
from them! Well, maybe it is because they have failed to do the
first part of that verse!
 We
have to do the "submitting to God" first, before
we can do the "resisting" and then we will be able to see the devil
"fleeing"! That is why we need to "pay
attention" to what we are reading! Praise God! He just
makes everything so simple for us!

"Spiritual Moms" had a very blessed Mother's Day! I sure did!
