Morning!
Let's
take a walk down "memory lane" . . . it won't take long, (it also
won't take long for most of you to figure out where I am going with
this).
Can't
you remember when you fell in love with someone? I mean really fell in
love with them, head over heels in love with them. Remember? You
just wanted to be with them all the time, and you thought about them all the
time, and you could not wait until you could have time "alone" with
them, and just the mention of their name caused your skin to tingle, and to be
in their presence was absolute "ecstasy"! You woke up every
morning with them on your mind, and you went to sleep at night with them on
your mind, and you even "dreamed" about them! You would write
their name on anything and everything, and you would talk about them to anyone
and everyone that would listen to you even if they did not even know you!
Your entire "focus" in life was on this person that had captured
your heart! You wanted to "touch" them and hold their hand and
say to them, "I love you"! You waited expectantly to hear
from them and would spend hours talking to them and hanging on to every
word they said! Nothing was more important to you than having them in
your life, in fact, you thought that you could just not "live without
them"! Remember?
Well, this is exactly the
kind of "head over heels in love" type of relationship that we
should have with The Lord Jesus. I fell in love with Jesus many years
ago, and I am still in love with Him and doing "all of the above"!
I am sure that many of you that are reading this are doing the same, but I
want to share one of my songs with you anyway~~~~~
Do you remember . . .
when you fell in love with Jesus?
And do you remember .
. . how important HE was to you?
Don't forget your
"first love"!

how HE took your burdens away?
And do you remember .
. . how HE made you feel so loved that day?

how HE wrapped HIS arms around you?
And do you remember .
. . how HE said, "I will never leave you"!

how your life was changed by HIS "love"?
Then just remember . .
. to remember your "first love"!

Remember, no Encouragement
