T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for May 10, 2006

Morning!
I
am sure that most of you that are reading this "series" on The Joy
of The Lord, may already know how to "enter" His presence (which is
the source of that Joy). You may even know how to "abide" in
His presence (which keeps us in the "fullness of Joy).
However, this is my "assignment" for now, and I pray that all of us
can learn even more about this powerful, scriptural "principal"!
It has been life-changing for me and I want to stay "teachable" . .
. so, I am expecting to receive more "revelation" from this!
Anyway, if only one person's life is changed from this message, so
be it! That person is valuable and precious to God! Can
I get an AMEN?
Yesterday, I listed some
"avenues" that will lead you into the "presence of The
Lord". Let's set our hearts and minds to receive what The Holy
Spirit will show us about #1~~~~~
#1. Talk to
Him
We
were created to fellowship and communicate with The Lord! He desires for
our relationship with Him to be "personal and intimate"!
Remember that He is right there in the same room with you, so don't just talk
"about" Him . . . talk TO Him!
There is a time to quote
scriptures about Him and His promises to you, but then there is a
time when you should begin to speak TO Him. In stead of saying . . .
"My God shall supply all of my needs according to His riches in
Glory". Acknowledge His presence by saying to Him . . . "Thank
you, Father, that You are taking care of all of my needs according to Your
resources, not according to mine"! I promise you that you
will receive JOY by just saying that . . . but it is because you have
acknowledged His "presence"! For example . . . Let's say I
came to visit you and was standing right there in your presence (I wish I
could do that with each one of you!).
Anyway, back to my "example" . . . would you just tell someone else
that was there, "Luanne is such a blessing to my life"?
If you did, then that would make me feel like you were not even acknowledging
my presence. Right? Remember, I am only using this as an example .
. . I don't know if I have been a blessing in your life or not. I am
just trying to make a point. If you will "acknowledge" The
Lord's presence in your life by talking directly and personally TO Him, that
gives you entrance in to "His presence"!
