Good
Morning!
Many
times, when I give you scriptures that relate to what I am talking about, I
don't always "tell" you what they say. That is because I want
you to go to the Word of God and read it for yourself!
However, today, I am going to share with you what Lamentations 3: 21- 23
says in the Amplified Bible. Before I do, I encourage you to read the verses up
above that....Jeremiah is expressing how he "felt" like God had
forsaken him. He was allowing what he could "see" and
"feel" to cause him to think that God was the reason for all of his
problems. Then, (in verse 21), all of a sudden, he remembers
something~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BUT
THIS I RECALL, THEREFORE HAVE I HOPE AND EXPECTATION; IT IS OF
THE LORD'S MERCIES AND LOVING-KINDNESS THAT WE ARE NOT CONSUMED,
(BECAUSE
HIS TENDER COMPASSIONS FAIL NOT). THEY ARE NEW EVERY MORNING; GREAT AND
ABUNDANT IS YOUR STABILITY AND FAITHFULNESS!
(Lamentations 3: 21-23, Amplified Bible)
All of us can learn something from these
scriptures....right in the middle of all of his complaining,
Jeremiah stopped and reminded himself of God's mercy and
compassion. Then He began to "praise" God for His
faithfulness!
I personally believe that Jeremiah had
read Psalms 8:2....I encourage you to read that!
Have
a Blessed Weekend! (Praise God for His faithfulness)
In His Love, Luanne
