Good Morning!

Discouragement does not come from God!  I don't know about you, but I don't want anything coming to me that is not from The Lord... He only gives us "good" things, and believe me, discouragement is not a "good" thing.

I am going to share one of my songs (that I have shared before) and I encourage you to really "think" about the words>>>>>>>

            Sometimes, prayers won't be...
            answered "instantly".
            but in the meantime, make up your mind,
            not to be discouraged!
            You know your prayer is "heard",
            if it's based upon "God's Word",
            so, in the meantime, make up your mind,
            not to be discouraged!**

There are some more verses to this song, but for right now, I believe that this is enough to let you know what The Lord is trying to get across.....You have the "God-given right and privilege" to stop the spirit of discouragement from coming upon you, by simply making a "decision"!

I encourage you, today, to talk to yourself...when you feel discouraged, say to yourself,  "Self, I refuse to be discouraged, I will do what David did and I will "encourage myself in The Lord!"  (1 Samuel 30:6)  More about this tomorrow...
