T.O.D.A.Y.’S ENCOURAGEMENT for May 16th, 2002

Good Morning!

When I think about how many people are receiving T.O.D.A.Y.'S Encouragements, it is amazing to me and also very humbling.  I am amazed (and always will be) when I see God's awesome power at work in people's lives.  But I am humbled that He would use me to be a part of that.  However, and please hear this...He wants to use you too!

God has a purpose for your life (Jeremiah 29:11).  You have a job to do for Him that no one else can do.  Your job may not be to send "encouraging e-mails", but whatever it is, it is important to Him!

When I say "your job", I am not talking about what you do for a living.... I am talking about your purpose in life.  Many people have "jobs", but they still feel unfulfilled.  That is because they haven't found their "purpose".  You will never feel "satisfied or fulfilled" until you know what God's purpose and plan is for your life.

I do not know what His plan and purpose is for you, but I do know this...You are "important" and you are "needed".  Too many lives depend on what you do.  Can you see how valuable you are in the plan of God?

If you already know what your purpose is, I encourage you to do it with all of your heart.  If you do not know what it is, then I encourage you to ASK The Lord to reveal it to you.  If you really want to know, He will show you what it is!
