T.O.D.A.Y.'S  ENCOURAGEMENT for March 03, 2008

Good Morning!

 

Yesterday was the 6th Anniversary for "T.O.D.A.Y.'S  ENCOURAGEMENT", and I have a special reason for bringing that up.   I want to give The Lord all of the glory, honor and praise for the success of this outreach because I KNOW that it is because HE started it, and has had His hand on it all these years.  I have no intention of ever taking any credit for it!  However, I also want to take this opportunity to thank all of you that take time to read them!  Some of you have been with me from the very beginning, and some of you have become part of this "family" of readers as the years have gone by.  I am just as "appreciative" of the last one that joined us as I am for the first one!  I just want you to know that I don't see you as a "mailing list" . . . I see you as precious and valuable "individuals" that are hungry for the things of God!  You have supported me with your "prayers", your "love-offerings", your "responses", your desire to "share" these encouragements with others, and even your desire to take the time to "encourage" ME!  Wow!  What a blessing all of you have been to me!  THANK YOU !!!!!!!  I just pray that you will see the sincerity of my heart in all of this seemingly "mushy" thanksgiving to you! 

 

Okay!  Moving right along . . . Let's get back to talking about the "victory" that belongs to us when we are confronted with "battles"!  The main thing that we need to do in the midst of our battles, is to begin to "magnify" the ONE who gives us the victory, and NOT to "magnify" the one who is causing the battles!  In other words, we will see our "victory" much sooner, when we quit talking about what the devil is doing (that just magnifies him and he loves it)!  So, start talking about what the Lord is doing and has promised to do for you (that will "magnify" The Lord)! Think about it like this ~~~ whatever you TALK about the most is what you have placed your "magnifying glass" on (no "pun" intended)!  I am hearing, in my spirit, what Jesus said: "Verily, verily, I tell you the TRUTH".  So, I am telling you the TRUTH!  Think about it!   I am going to be sending you some "scriptures" and some "songs" that will help you MAGNIFY The Lord instead of your problems, so that you can have the VICTORY that belongs to you!   Well, this sounds good to me . . . how about you?
