Good Morning!

Psalms 91 . . . continued ~~~~

I am going to finish expounding on this chapter, verse by verse, quoting from the Amplified Bible.  I already pointed out that you can compare the Amplified Version with the King James version or any other version that you may have.  So, for time's sake, I will use the Amplified as we continue with this study.

Today, I want to repeat verse one and then give you verse two (there is a very important reason why The Lord wants me to do it this way).

Verse 1 ~~~~ He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].

Verse 2 ~~~~ I will SAY of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I confidently trust!

The Psalmist stopped and made a "confession of faith" in verse two before continuing.  Why?  The answer to that question is clearly brought forth in the "footnotes".  I am going to type them like they are written ~~~~ (The rich promises of the whole chapter are dependent upon one's meeting exactly the conditions of these first two verses).  This is "confirmed" by the word then that you will see in the following "covenant promises"!  Remember, this is going to be an "on-going" study, so you might want to take notes as we go along, or print these Encouragements out so that you can refer back to them . . . whatever you need to do in order to walk in these awesome Covenant promises of God for your life!

I want to bring out something that was said in verse two ~~~ when the Psalmist said . . . "I will SAY of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, on Him will I lean and rely, and in Him will I confidently trust" . . . that tells me that he "opened his mouth" and said "out loud"  what God had instructed us to do in Proverbs 3:5 . . . in other words, He was "talking Covenant-talk"!  I encourage you to read the whole chapter of Proverbs 3 . . . it could be life-changing for you if you will "believe and receive"!

I will continue to share on Psalms 91 . . . I know, without a doubt, that the Holy Spirit is pouring out "revelation knowledge of God's Word" to those who are hungry for it!

Have a Blessed Weekend!      (God has so much prepared for you!)       In His Love, Luanne
