Good Morning!

Okay, guys and gals . . . let's roll!   We are about to find out about a "place" IN HIM, where every need is supplied!  I know that many of you already have some revelation about this place, but we should never accept a "stop sign" at intersections as a reason for not going on to our destination!  There will always be more road ahead of us to keep traveling on!  We must stay "teachable" and be willing to learn more than we "think we already know"!

So let's take a trip through Psalms 91 . . . I am going to give you scriptures from the King James version of the Bible, and also from the Amplified Bible.  This way you will know that the Amplified version does not change the context,  it just "amplifies" the meanings of the words.  I encourage you to "compare" these two versions, and receive the "revelation" that The Lord wants to give you!

Psalms 91:1 . . . "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty" (KJV)

Psalms 91:1 . . . "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty . . . Whose power no foe can withstand"! (Amplified Bible)

So, let's think about what the "Covenant promise" of God is that is embedded in this verse!  First of all it says that if we "dwell" there . . . to "dwell" somewhere means that this is where you "live".  In other words, it is your dwelling place or where you have chosen to "reside" (your residence)!  Then it talks about to "abide" . . . to abide means that this is where you have decided to "stay" and remain and not be moving from one place to another!  Like not being "tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine" (Ephesians 4:14).

Oh!  This is exciting, and we have only just begun!   There is so much more to "glean" from this first verse of Psalms 91, but I like to keep these Encouragements short so that you can "chew on it", (which is where the word "meditate" comes from), and then "digest" it before The Holy Spirit puts some more on our plate!  So, I will let you all do that tomorrow, and then I will be back on Thursday to give you "heaping helpings" of fresh manna from God!  When we take time to "chew" our food, then we are getting the real "taste" of it and we will also receive all the nutrition that is in it . . . likewise, when we take time to "chew" on God's Word, we will get a "taste" of What He is all about and also receive the "spiritual nutrition" that we need!  "Taste and see that The Lord is good"! (Psalms 34:8)

Have a Blessed Day!!                (Take time to "chew"!)            In His Love, Luanne
