Good
Morning!
I
apologize for being so late sending this out, but sometimes I have my own
personal "mountains" that have to be dealt with. That is when
I get to "practice what I preach"!
In
the meantime, I want to encourage all of you to spend time in God's Word.
You have the same Holy Spirit inside of you that I have, and He will teach you
how to "speak" to those mountains that get in your way. If
FEAR is one of them . . . then start talking "covenant-talk" to that
spirit of FEAR. I am going to give you a scripture that you can start
building on . . . 2 Timothy 1:7 says very simple and plain that God has not
given you a "spirit of fear"! Which means that
"fear" is not IN you . . . it has to come from the outside and
try to get ON you! So, when that happens . . . open you mouth and
say this ~~~~~
"I
WILL NOT FEAR! GOD DID NOT GIVE ME A SPIRIT OF FEAR"!
Whenever, you feel "fear" trying to come upon you . . . say that
again! Keep saying it until it becomes real to you! Remember this
~~~~ you will need to QUIT saying things like . . . "I am so afraid"!
Many times people say that without even realizing that they are
"feeding" that spirit of fear. They say . . . I am afraid that
I may get laid off from my job . . . or, I am afraid my kids are going to get
in with the wrong crowd . . . or, I am afraid we aren't going to have enough
money to pay our bills . . . or all of the other things people say they are
"afraid" of. When they say those kind of things, they are just
making that "mountain" bigger and bigger! Why? Because
they are "speaking" contrary to the Word of God! God has told
us to FEAR NOT! You cannot keep the spirit of fear from trying to come
on you . . . but you CAN keep it from STAYING on you! Ask the Holy
Spirit to show you other scriptures that will help you in that area!
This same "principle" will apply to any other mountains you may be
confronted with! So, find out what God's Word has to say about them, and
then start talking Covenant-talk!
I
am looking forward to sharing more with all of you when I come back!
But right now, I 'gotta' do what I 'gotta' do, and that is
. . . be obedient!
Have
a Blessed Weekend! (Keep
talking "Covenant-talk"!)
In His Love, Luanne
