Morning!
I
have been talking about knowing the difference between God's kind of LOVE and
the world''s kind of love. We have been given a commandment from
The Lord to "walk in love". I have already shared a lot of
scriptures concerning this....so just remember that it is a
"commandment" (not an "option")! In fact
Jesus, Himself, said that if we really "love" Him, we will obey His
commandments....think about that!
So,
we are going to take a "love walk" through 1Corinthians 13: 4 - 8,
which is our "check-up list" to see if we are walking in God's kind
of love. I will be referring to the verses, one by one...and I will be
sharing from the Amplified Bible. I really do encourage all of you to go
through these verses with your Bible open. If you are at work and
cannot have your Bibles open...then I encourage you to "print them
out" and do it at another time. The reason I encourage
that is because of the "format" that I am going to be using with
each verse!
Before
we even get started on this "walk", let me say this~~~~I know that
the King James version of the Bible uses the word "charity" in place
of "love"....that can be confusing if you don't understand that the
word "charity" in this context actually means "love".
If you understand that, then you will know that the verses are not talking
about "charitable donations" to the Salvation Army....etc.
Some people only have the King James Bible, so that is why I felt the
need to share that!
Anyway, starting
tomorrow....I am going to have you "insert" your name every
where you see the word "LOVE". Hey! Not to worry....I am going
to make it real "simple" for you! Just wait until tomorrow and
you will "see"!
 I am
excited about what the Holy Spirit is going to reveal to each and every one
that really loves Jesus and wants to keep His "commandment of
LOVE"!
