Morning!
The
Lord desires for His people to "walk" with Him....and we all use the phrase
from time to time "my daily walk with the Lord". Do we really
understand what it means to WALK WITH THE LORD?
In
Amos 3:3..God asks this question "Can two walk together, except they be
in agreement?". In order for us to really walk with the Lord, we
are going to have to "agree" with Him. The way we agree
with God, is by being in agreement with His Word! If you don't know
what His "Word" says, then how can you be in agreement with it? That
is why I encourage people to open their bibles and find out what His Word
says! We will talk some more about how to walk in agreement with God,
but today I want to share a song with you....this is an old gospel song that many
of you are familiar with, so think about the words as we sing it~~~~~~~~
Just
a closer walk with Thee; grant it, Jesus, is my plea.
Daily, walking close to Thee; let it be, dear Lord, let it be!
I am weak, but You are strong; Jesus, keep me from all wrong.
I'll be "satisfied" as long....as I walk, let me walk close to Thee!
I
know that there are some more verses to this song, but I just wanted to
"whet" your appetite (desire) to walk with Him in a closer
way than you have ever done before! Are you feeling the
"hunger pangs"? I, personally, want to "walk" closer
to Him, and I believe that you do too! He has made it so
"simple" for us to do this!
