Good Morning!

Last week, I shared one of my songs with you about making a decision to obey the "love commandment" that Jesus gave us.  He also gave us the ability to do this by placing "His" love in our hearts (Romans 5:5).  I explained that doing this does not necessarily mean that we have to agree with, or approve of, everything someone does.  It is all about the way we "see" others...In other words, if we are loving others the way that God loves us, we will see them as "valuable and precious".

That is the way that God sees us, and I am sure that He is not always in agreement with our behavior, nor does He always "approve" of everything we say and do.... but He continues to see us as "valuable and precious"!  Jesus said for us to love one another the "way" that He loves us...not the way the world loves.  Worldly love is selfish and "conditional"...God's love
is completely "unconditional"!

The reason that is hard for some people to love this way, is usually because they have not received God's unconditional love for themselves...you can't give something that you don't have!

I encourage you, today, to begin to see yourself as "valuable and precious", and then you will be able to see others that way.  Go ahead, look at yourself in the mirror every morning and say, " I am valuable and precious to God, and today I choose to see others as valuable and precious to God also!"
