T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for June 23, 2008

Today,
I am going to be referring (briefly), to the Encouragement that I first sent
out on May 19 and then I sent it out again on June 17. I am being led to
just give you some helpful suggestions on how to take that
"list" of things that God has set us free from, and gain
"revelation knowledge" on how to RECEIVE and APPLY His Covenant
promises concerning those things. In one of my other
Encouragements, I suggested that you use a concordance and look up scriptures
that relate to each one of those things. Now, the Lord is saying that as
you go through the "list", remember to look up scriptures that
relate to the "other side of the coin" (in other words, think about
the very "opposite" of each thing that I listed and look up
scriptures that relate to that). For example, the first thing listed is
"fear" . . . so, after you look up scriptures about "fear"
. . . check out scriptures about "faith". The next one is
"lack", don't just focus on "lack" . . . also look
up scriptures that talk about "abundance" and "plenty" and
"increase". The next one is "failure" . . . go ahead
and read all of the scriptures that use the words "fail, failing,
failure", then check out the scriptures that talk about
"success", "promotion", "victory",
"triumphant". Go to the next thing that is listed and do the
same thing. You can use this same principle with every thing that is listed.
I believe, with all of my heart, that if you will do this, you will be
extremely blessed! Not only will you find "confirmation" about
what you already know concerning God's awesome COVENANT with you, but The Holy
Spirit will reveal many more things to you about it!
You
may be thinking . . . "Luanne, I do not have the time to do this"!
I am not suggesting that you try to do this all in one day! Don't look
at this "assignment" as an insurmountable "mountain".
Just see yourself as a "mountain-climber", and take it "one day
at a time"! Pace yourself by doing this when you DO have time! The
Lord is just wanting you to come up to a "higher" level with Him.
It does not matter how long it takes, just know this . . . everytime you throw
your hook into the "rock", and start pulling yourself up by the
"scarlet rope", you are getting closer and closer to the
"peak" of the "mountain"! Then you can STAND on
top of that "mountain" that has been in your way, and shout . .
. "I HAVE OVERCOME! I AM MORE THAN A CONQUEROR! I HAVE A
COVENANT WITH GOD"!
