Morning!
Today
I want to talk about the "grace" of God. For many years I
thought that God's grace was the same thing as His "mercy". I
know a lot of people who still think the same thing. You know . .
. like people who see a crippled person and says, "If not for the grace
of God, there go I". They are thinking that it is God's mercy that
keeps them from being "crippled" or "down and out" or
whatever! Please hear me out....I am not saying that we don't
need God's "mercy" in our lives! Of course, we do! I am
just saying that there is a difference between His mercy and His grace!
Praise God for His mercy! I don't know about you, but "this
kid" needs it 24/7!
I
want to try and make this "simple" . . . God's mercy
"understands" your situation and shows you His
"compassion", but God's grace "changes" your
situation and shows you His "power"! Mercy is
"passive", but Grace is "aggressive"!
Tomorrow, I will give you
"scriptures" that will show you just how "powerful" God's
GRACE is! Understanding God's "grace" will cause you to
Praise Him, and when you begin to Praise Him, you will enter into His
"presence", and in His presence is "fullness of JOY"!
There you have it! Is that simple or what?
