Morning!
I
want to continue talking about the "ministry of angels", and to give
you some more scriptures concerning this. All of the scriptures that I
will be using this week are very familiar scriptures to most of you.
However, I know for a fact that sometimes we have the tendency to
"scan" over familiar scriptures, but we need to take time to
"chew" our food! In other words....to "meditate" on
what we read!
Psalms
91:11 says that God gives His angels "charge" over us to keep
us in all of our ways. To give a "charge" means to give
a "command"! So, it is a fact that God has
"commanded" the angels to assist us, but we need to look at Psalms
103:20...this tells us that the angels obey God's
"command" when they hear someone speaking His "Word"!
Are we getting the "picture" now? We have to open our mouth
and speak forth what God's Word says about our angelic protection in order to
give the angels something to work with!
Do
you remember what Jesus did when He was "tempted" by the devil?
You can read it in the 4th chapter of Matthew....He kept "saying"
what God's Word said. Well, look at what happened! Read verse
11....the devil left Him, and the "angels" came and ministered to
Him!
If we want the "ministry of the
angels" manifested in our lives, then we have to do what Jesus did....we
have to tell the devil "it is written"! However, if we don't know
what is "written" then we can't give the angels anything to work
with!
I will be sharing with you some more
things that are "written" concerning angels and what God has
"assigned" them to do for you, so stay with me~~~~~
