Morning!
I
pray that these messages, about the different "seasons" that occur
in our lives, are helping you to understand why they happen.
We are currently talking about the "summer" seasons and when we
are in this season we are going to experience a tremendous amount of
"heat" (discomfort).
Sometimes,
this is because of the fact that the "Potter" is turning up the
heat on the "clay". In other words, this is when the Lord is
molding us and making us into a "vessel" that can be
used by the Master and prepared for every good work....read 2Timothy
2:21.
This
is a time we when we need to say "no" to our fleshly desires, and
say "yes" to The Lord's will for us.....this is a time when we
need to sing this familiar Hymn~~~
HAVE THINE OWN WAY, LORD.....HAVE THINE OWN WAY;
THOU ARE THE POTTER.......I AM THE CLAY.
MOLD ME AND MAKE ME...AFTER THY "WILL",
WHILE I AM WAITING....YIELDED AND STILL!
Just
singing this song, (in sincere submission to Him), could make a big
difference! If you "submit" to His will, you will get out of
the oven a lot sooner....otherwise, it could be a "long, hot
summer"! I don't know about you, but I prefer to be in
God's will......I feel comfortable there, and I am not very
comfortable in excessive heat!
